The perfect team — etiam ultricies nisi vel augue. Curabitur ullamcorper ultricies nisi.

Eric Schultz, Founder/Partner

After five years as an investment banker on Wall Street, I left my job to pursue the growth of Relic Pictures.  At the heart of my decision was a love of film and a realization that a business-minded team can make an impact on indie filmmaking.

Eric was either producer or executive producer on Relic Pictures projects:  Hotline, The Heart Machine, James White and Preppie Connection. He also secured financing for Wild Oats, a Weinstein Production.

His investment banking career included five years in the debt capital market division for Barclays Capital as well as experience in their investment banking division.  He is a certified financial analyst (CFA) candidate.

Eric graduated from Harvard College cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a secondary concentration in Economics. While at Harvard, Eric was a 4 year letterman and 3 time All-Ivy Linebacker for the Crimson football team.

Michael Balchan served as associate producer on the short film Hotline (2014) and co-executive producer on Josh Mond's James White (2015). Michael is based out of Chicago, where he has worked since graduating with honors from Harvard College in 2009. Michael holds a bachelor's degree in Economics with a secondary concentration in Psychology. He is an avid triathlete, musician, scholar, and world traveler.

Andrew Kelley served an executive producer on The Heart Machine (2014) and executive producer on James White (2015). He is currently an executive producer on The Preppie Connection (2015). An active participant in theatre/film since childhood, the transition from Wall Street to Relic Pictures generates a strong sense of appreciation and familiarity for him. He graduated from Western Connecticut in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics where he also captained the Division 3 tennis team. Andrew is a classically trained chef and enjoys spending free time with family & friends or on the the tennis court.
