After five years as an investment banker, I left my job to pursue the growth of Relic Pictures. At the heart of my decision was a love of film and a realization that a business-minded team can significantly impact indie filmmaking.
Eric is an Indie Spirit Award-nominated producer and founder of Relic Pictures. He has served as producer or executive producer on all Relic Pictures projects. These include three films that premiered and received awards at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival: Here Alone (Audience Award), Dean (Best Narrative Feature), The Fixer (Best Actor). Other films include: Mr. Pig (Sundance 2016, IFC), Preppie Connection (HIFF 2015, IFC), The Heart Machine (SXSW 2014, Filmbuff).
Eric is currently working as producer on The Strange Ones, a thriller from directing team Lauren Wolkstein and Christopher Radcliffe, starring Alex Pettyfer and James Freedson-Jackson. A 2017 release is planned.
Eric produced Katie Says Goodbye, which was selected to IFP's Narrative Lab and premiered at TIFF. The film stars Olivia Cooke, Mireille Enos, Christopher Abbott, Mary Steenburgen and Jim Belushi. In 2015 Eric produced James White which won the NEXT Audience Award at Sundance and was released by The Film Arcade to rave reviews in Fall 2015. James White was nominated for two Gotham Awards and three Indie Spirit Awards.

Michael is a partner and advisor at Relic Pictures. One of the original members of the team, Michael's film credits include executive producer on Katie Says Goodbye, co-executive producer on James White, and associate producer on Hotline.

Michael graduated with honors from Harvard University in 2009. His focus was in economics and psychology, with supporting studies in spirituality, advanced physics, music, and philosophy. Following graduation he worked for seven years as a professional commodity options trader in Chicago’s financial markets. He has authored books on both trading and meditation, and has led seminars in option-trading, advanced speed-reading, productivity strategies, memory techniques, optimal living habits, personal growth, and self-actualization. He publishes a weekly newsletter on related topics at his website.
Intern-turned-employee at Relic, Ben is an Associate Producer for Katie Says Goodbye while finishing his BA at Hunter College. He also works with local artists to produce efforts such as the DV8 Film Festival and various short films.
